Baltic Towers was established in 2023 as a result of cooperation between the Polish Industrial Development Agency S. A.and the Spanish company GRI Renewable Industries, S. L.  We manufacture towers for offshore wind turbines, which are the foundation of our investments in renewable energy sources, strengthening our position as a leader in the European energy transformation.  

The Baltic Towers factory is located on Ostrów Island in Gdańsk.  

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of:

Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• At the ramp up of the factory supporting the machinery installation; After production start-up responsibility for ensuring reliability of the machines and systems at the area of responsibility;
• Detailed training for all vendors of the machines;
• Detailed involvement in the Construction phase of the facility with involvement in the General Contract Construction planning and operations that will impact machinery installation;
• Creating maintenance standards and procedures;
• Lead; support and mentor Maintenance team; ensuring they are working in a safe; standard and efficient manner;
• Implement network standards and focus on preventive maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers;
• Ensuring the availability of production machines and equipment at the level defined using KPI indicators;
• Organization and improvement of the preventive maintenance system and development of Predictive Maintenance techniques;
• Supervision over the efficient removal of failures of machines; devices and installations;
• Developing and managing the maintenance budget;
• Supervision of documentation for machines and devices;
• Cooperation with external services and technical service providers;
• Responsibility of creating safety work environment culture;
• Part of the implementation of the Maintenance Modul of the ERP system in Baltic Towers.

Requirements

• Higher technical education relevant to the position; profile (preferred fields: Automation; Mechatronics; Machine Construction);
• Very good English skills in written and speaking allowing to communicate within the group and to work with technical documentation;
• Knowledge of maintenance management techniques and tools (SMED analysis; Kaizen; Lean Manufacturing; TPM; 5S; etc; );
• Be proficient in MS Office and any maintenance management system software;
• Experience with SAP will be additional advantage;
• Strategic and analytical thinking;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Creativity and ability to solve technical problems;
• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and in conditions of changing priorities;
• Experience in implementing good practices into the life of the plant.
